As many of you know, I've been making music with varying levels of commitment since youth. In the past year or so, I've spent most of my music-making energy just playing my guitar in my idle times, experimenting with new song ideas, and stringing together notes into hour-long rambling jams. These are lonely and unfulfilling. Some months ago, I decided to take the phrases and figures that had lasted from these jams and form them into songs, with the ultimate goal of playing them in front of an audience. It's necessary that I start to "put myself out there" and let other people listen to these things as I search for people to work with, so I followed the quick-and-dirty route and set up a Myspace page - Bryght site to follow. The name of the group is abstract, and has meaning only to me: MA:46. You can click the name or image to visit the Myspace, or listen to the first demo track by clicking the blue play button below. (if you don't see a play button, you can click the file name instead.)
